Day 4-5 saw us working on the Bishop heads, black and copper trim on the pawns, and headpieces for the rooks.




The bishop has a rounded head, a larger body, a cutout and eventually a painted area (masked but not painted in the above)...




Stephen took care of the cutouts for the rook heads.




We added copper disks (for the "white" side) and torch-blackened steel disks (for the "black" side) as accents on the pawns...they look pretty neat.
